What is Heart for the Kingdom?
Heart for the Kingdom is the time when everyone who calls SOUL Church their home can join together to bring sacrificial giving, over and above our tithes. We act as the hands and feet of Jesus, sowing a seed that will bear fruit for many years to come. There’s never been a more important time for the church to arise and take ground – there’s so much to be done and together we will make a difference to the people of our city and beyond!

Dear Church,
Heart for the House has always been a significant and sacred time – both for us personally and for the whole church. It’s a season of unity, where we rally together and choose to give over and above our regular tithes and offerings.
Why do we choose to sacrifice, when it would be so much easier not to? We give above and beyond because we believe in above and beyond miracles. Our new home is one such miracle. Last year, we filmed our Heart for the House presentation in a building site, with bills mounting up and no idea how we’d get across the finish line. And now we’ve moved into our new home – we’ve lived this miracle in motion.
Over the past ten years, we’ve called our miracle offering Heart for the House, and we’ve seen the evidence of what God has done in this house over that decade. Now we’re in a new season we need a new name: Heart for the Kingdom. Our hearts are still for this house, but we really believe our church is called to stretch outside our doors, to impact the Kingdom all over the world.
Our mission statement is Love in Action, and we believe Heart for the Kingdom better reflects that. Our heart is to see His kingdom come, and His will be done through this offering.
As individuals, we can achieve incredible things, but when we sow and sacrifice as a church family, we can achieve the extraordinary – something truly miraculous. In January, we declared 2024 the year of the Open Door, and time and time again we’ve seen that vision unfold. We can’t wait to see what God has in store for the coming year – transforming lives within our church, our city, our country and across the world.
Every blessing,
Jon and Chantel
